Give Hope Today.
Autism Meets Faith exists to support children on the autism spectrum and their families through creative, community-centered programs that foster connection, confidence, and inclusion. Our programs are designed to meet families where they are—both geographically and developmentally—by partnering with trusted community spaces across Greater Houston, Montgomery County, and Liberty County.
As we grow, our focus remains on accessibility, flexibility, and impact, ensuring families can engage without unnecessary barriers.
Explorers Club is Autism Meets Faith’s signature program and the heart of our mission in action.
This creative, play-based program is designed for children on the autism spectrum to explore art, sensory activities, and hands-on learning in a supportive and inclusive environment. Sessions encourage social interaction, self-expression, and confidence while allowing each child to participate at their own pace.
Moving forward, Explorers Club operates as a pop-up program, hosted at partner locations such as churches, community centers, clinics, and gyms. This model allows us to bring programming directly into neighborhoods where families already feel comfortable and connected.
Families are invited to join our mailing list to be notified when an Explorers Club session is scheduled near them.
Explorers Club supports:
Social engagement and peer interaction
Sensory-friendly creative expression
Confidence and independence
Community connection for families
Autism Meets Faith offers educational workshops for parents and caregivers, featuring professionals and experienced advocates from the autism community. These workshops are designed to equip families with practical tools, resources, and encouragement as they navigate life with a child on the spectrum.
Topics may include:
Navigating services and supports
Advocacy and educational planning
Emotional wellness for caregivers
Preparing for transitions and milestones
Workshops are offered throughout the year at partner locations and community venues.
We host inclusive family events throughout the year that provide opportunities for connection, celebration, and belonging. These events are designed with sensory considerations in mind and are welcoming to families of all abilities.
Community events may include:
Seasonal celebrations and holiday gatherings
Outdoor family fun days
Fundraising walks and community-wide activities
These gatherings strengthen relationships among families and help raise awareness and support for autism-inclusive programming.
Caring for a child on the autism spectrum can be rewarding but challenging. Our Moms Time-Out events give mothers and caregivers an opportunity to relax, connect, and recharge in a supportive community. Activities may include creative workshops, self-care sessions, and social gatherings designed to promote wellness, friendship, and rejuvenation.
Quarterly Events:
We host Moms Time-Out events roughly once per quarter. Dates and activities are announced as they are scheduled, so families can plan to join when it works best for them.
While Autism Meets Faith does not provide therapy services directly, we understand the financial burden therapy can place on families. When funding allows, we offer therapy support grants to help offset the cost of services for children on the autism spectrum.
Grant availability is dependent on funding and application cycles.
As Autism Meets Faith continues to grow, our programs will expand through partnerships that allow us to serve families across multiple communities and counties. By hosting programs in familiar, trusted spaces, we reduce barriers to participation and increase access to meaningful support.
We are committed to building a sustainable model that adapts to community needs while staying rooted in our mission of Building a Spectrum of Hope.
